Your assignment this month is to write a letter to Santa. Please take time to think about your answer. Start this assignment by writing your response on a piece of paper so you can make corrections and revisions. You must include a minimum of FOUR NEW things you have learned in school this year. Remember to be creative with your responses. Please use complete sentences and check your spelling and punctuation before posting your list.

Dear Santa,
I have been really, really good this year at school. I listen to my teacher and have learned so much! To prove to you how many new things I have learned this year I will make a list.
Hold on to your reindeer Santa, here goes... 1. I learned how to be a member of a wiki and share my thoughts and ideas with others. 2. I learned to subtract 3 digit numbers. 3. I knew this next one already, but it's worth mentioning- I learned how important it is to be patient and to ask questions when I don't understand something. 4. I learned about synonyms like the words car and automobile.
It has been an awesome year in third grade this year so far and I can't wait to see what else I learn before I head to 4th grade at Vets Park next year! Just one more thing, I'll be leaving treats out for you and your reindeer when I head to bed on December 24th!
